After
Well, he's here. I was late picking him up from the airport...of course. He's awesome guys. He's totally who he was on the phone. He's smart, funny, sweet, kind, fun and fucking hot. Plus the fucking is pretty hot too which isn't such a bad thing.
The house is still pretty gnarly but oh what a way I've come with it:
The limes are for the margaritas we're going to make tomorrow plus they're a pretty centerpiece and a nice natural room freshner. That's the brown dog lying devotedly at CPG's feet under the table. Remember, she doesn't like anyone!
Check out the changes in the living room!
And, the most important room of the house. The stray dog models how comfy the bed is. And it is. Comfy. Clean. And no dogs allowed tonight baby!

Now go have fun! We can wait til later to see what you have to report to us!
I'm so glad it's going well. :)
the house looks a lot better too...keep it that way ...
I think CPG better protect his great-looking legs. The last time you went on a major housecleaning frenzy, it was just before you brought Bird home to live. The doggies must still be a bit resentful of all the attention Bird has gotten since then, especially since "it"* must seem to them like a potentially tasty snack (perish the thought!!) Now you go on another cleaning frenzy, and in comes another "creature," to whom you pay lots of attention. Then you try to deny the doggies access to their fave place to rest? I'm thinking those muscular, very manly legs might be looking like juicy steaks to a few jealous doggies by now. (Perish that thought, too!!) Doggies don't know from return flights and long-distance relationships, you know. ;-) Heck, CC -- they may just try to take a nip out of you the next time you start cleaning house. :-)

Your place looks amazing. Have fun!!!!
well we haven't heard from our girl... either she's laid up or the guy was one of those internet serial killers... remember gang we haven't seen the guy's face...right now her and the dogs could be in pieces all over the clean house...
Or they might still be in bed.. :p
I think we owe them a little more time before we call the cops and send them to her rescue.
Oh, dear... I'm trying to nurture only positive thoughts, Anthony, and you're somehow reaching into my head and publishing my deepest fears here! I checked the weather map, and I was thinking maybe she might be having some power troubles (which I thought was possible for you as well). I hope your note here means your family is dry and safe from Katrina's leftovers. How 'bout we think some prettier thoughts, like maybe they're just having such a great time getting to know each other that she's taking a break from the computer?
I think I know how we could get her to drop us a howdy to let us know she's OK. Watch this:
If we don't hear from her by tomorrow morning, we could always call her parents and ask them if she's OK...
I'll bet that'll get her fingers off CPG and back on the keyboard REAL quick! heh-heh ;)
Hey, look at that, Debra! We're both thinking of her at the same time. Surely she'll hear our thoughts. ;) You're much nicer than I am. I don't think she'd mind someone calling the cops to check on her -- but calling her parents would REALLY tick her off! If it becomes necessary, we should probably go with your suggestion -- but I still think my note will get a quicker reply from CC. ;)
Whoa! I'm okay! No need to call cops OR parents - Ms. A.R. you wouldn't do that, would you!?!
I'll post more later but I am alive and well and CPG is back home by now :-(
I honestly think I would have come around to Debra's idea if it had felt necessary, but I surely would have called your phone first, likely making any other intervention unnecessary. But I don't think I would've done that for a few days, so if you had actually been in trouble, it wouldn't have done much good, huh? I just knew the comment about calling your 'rents would shake you up really good and get some kind of comment out of you! (I truly didn't know I had such a mean streak in me! :-D) Thanks for the note -- I had no idea he was leaving so soon. The sad-face must mean it was a good visit and you're sad to have it over. Somehow that's a good thing, right??
Get some rest, and then share whatever details might be fit to print, 'k? *HUGS*
