I love my air conditioning

Bubba got his ac fixed yesterday. I've been driving around in a big black oven for two years over a stupid eighty dollar fix so the joy of feeling that cold air rushing out of the vents is somewhat tempered by the stupidity I feel for not getting it fixed before. A broken O ring. I drove around all day today singing "I love my air conditioning. Air conditioning is what I love." There's a dance too. The boyfriend is out of town for work but should be back late tonight and then gone again on Sunday. I could have done girl stuff I suppose but mostly I'm content to just have some space and quiet. I don't mean that in a bad way like he's crowding me just that I've lived by myself for a good dozen years so it's a bit of an adjustment for me to have him around so much although I enjoy that too. Anyway, I love my air conditioning!

AC is good.
Right now it's almost 100 here and we're on this energy saving program where our AC automatically shuts off in fifteen minute intervalls (rather than running all day) So it's not keeping up with keeping the house cool. But it's still better than being outside in it and it's way better than last year when the damn thing broke. This is our NEW one which cools beautifully, when not on the energy saving on/off thing.

I'm SO glad to have you back. I emailed you and the email bounced. I hope you're not upset with me for some reason like a few fellow bloggers seem to be, taking me off their blogrolls and excommunicating me for some unknown reason.) :(

Bubba has A/C - life is good! I do not know how you stood not having AC for 2 years. Must be cause you're young....
You sound wonderful. I've missed reading BIA, but it's nice to know you're life is so full. Good for you!

A/C rocks! It was 106 here yesterday, but I was down in Newport at the beach all day.. where it was "only" about 90 degrees.

So does two posts in a week and half-ish mean we get to see more of you? I hope so because I misses reading you!

I'm not sure how the world existed before AC .... It's just not possible!

Nobody's escaping misery this summer! I don't recall seeing news weather maps with so much of America sweltering all at once as has been true lately. Though we get higher temps in the desert, there aren't words to fully describe how grateful I am for the lower humidity. I'm sending good thoughts to all of you to keep your AC units working through the muggy days to come!

CC, are you able to do your dog walks early enough in the day that you and your charges don't totally burn up? Sure hope so! I'm right with the others in being glad to have updates from you. We're your team, and we love you.

So.. are you getting this 85* at 5am weather that we've been having?

Hey, Debra, I figure you were asking CC about the KY weather, but she doesn't seem to be here. Maybe we all should just keep posting our local weather here, in hope that CC will pop in occasionally with a post, just to stop us. It's Fri., 6:48 am here in AZ, and it's 87* with humidity at an unusual 45%.

Anybody else have a weather report? :>)

Hurray for that fixed air conditioner! :D You can never really appreciate what a thing’s worth until it’s gone. Anyway, I hope nothing like this (“driving around in a big black oven for two years”) happened and will happen again. That’s just too long a time! Hehe! :]
